In 2024, while the Ukrainian soldiers have reclaimed a large part of the territories that Russia had occupied for a few weeks at the beginning of the conflict, Igor, a Ukrainian filmmaker and cyclist, asks Sebastian, a German friend, if he will accompany him for a charitable raid along the front line. Our two colleagues go to interview witnesses of the violence of this war that does not say its name.
Throughout their journey, they meet people full of emotion and ask questions about their journey and the difficulty of only witnessing events that exceed them.
It is also a story of friendship between a Ukrainian and a German, two peoples who were torn apart 80 years ago and whom everything should oppose today but who demonstrate by this story the absurdity of hatreds and conflicts.
