This film recounts a unique journey lasting more than 2,000 days in search of wildlife.

For 18 years, the Lapieds have been tracking mountain animals in the Gran Paradiso massif. Far from the beaten track, we set off with Véronique, Anne, and Erik on their patient quest to understand the tracks and habits of the masters of this domain. They take us along on their stakeouts and failures, but also on the pure moment of grace that is a long-awaited encounter.
