JUSTINE MAUVIN & DAMIEN CASTERA
The treasures of humanity are sometimes hidden in the long lost jungles at the end of the world. Some tribes have remained in the wild despite successive phases of colonization, evangelization and globalization. From
the heart of « kaleleo », the deep forest, their voices resonate with the song of the world. For 62 days, surfers Damien Castera and Justine Mauvin crossed the jungle of these remote territories. A surfing expedition in the footsteps of ancestral tribes. From the Mentawaii “flowermen” to the “crocodile men” of the Sepik River, Justine and Damien favored the human approach to their sporting adventure.
