Peggy Bouchet

Peggy Bouchet is a French sailor and entrepreneur, born in Évian-les-Bains on June 6, 1973.
She completed a DUT in law and management, then a master’s degree in logistics and maritime management at the University of Plymouth. It was at this time that she discovered a passion for the maritime world and took up sailing.

In 2000, at the age of 26, on her second attempt, she successfully rowed the Atlantic solo in less than 49 days, becoming the first woman in the world to row solo across the Atlantic at paddle.

Olivier Föllmi

Olivier Föllmi

Olivier Follmi readily describes himself as a “photographer of the world”. He was deeply influenced by the Himalayan world and with his wife Danielle, they built a family by adopting four Tibetan children. They also founded a support association for education projects in the Himalayas: HOPE (Himalayan Organization for People & Education(.

This love story will tour the world and be rewarded with the most prestigious prizes. It was by developing a passion for elsewhere that Olivier Follmi became a great “traveling photographer”. It is at this price that “you will have something to share, to say and to show. A perfect but meaningless photo will never equal a blurry photo with an upsetting message.

From each of their journeys a book will be born where photos and texts are a true ode to life and a means of sharing emotion with as many people as possible. Olivier Föllmi captured hundreds of portraits of children and always looked at them with a tender and moving look. From Tajikistan to India, from Mexico to Argentina, from Ethiopia to Namibia, they are there, laughing and charming, tender or sulky, witnesses of a world that their presence illuminates.
