The nearest railway station to Val d’Isère is in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (a 40-minute drive away) and is served by numerous trains, including high-speed services (TGV, Eurostar, Thalys).

Coming by bus from Bourg-Saint-Maurice station

The bus is the simplest and most economical way to get to Val d’Isère from Bourg-Saint-Maurice station, which is just 40 minutes away from Val d’Isère. Regular shuttle buses run throughout the day: the ideal way to get there stress-free.

As environmentally friendly as it is economical, it’s the best way to meet new people.

There are four ‘car-sharing’ stops in the village, where you can pick up or drop off a passenger:

  • 1 stop at the La Daille bus stop, on the route towards Bourg-Saint-Maurice
  • 1 stop at the coach station
  • 1 stop at the ski slopes roundabout
  • 1 stop at Le Fornet, near the cable car

Stopping at these locations is limited to 10 minutes. Please note that parking is prohibited here and the driver must remain in the vehicle.
