In the presence of directors Anne Lapied and Erik Lapied
This film chronicles a unique journey spanning more than 2,000 days in search of the wild.
For the past 18 years, the Lapieds have been tracking mountain animals in the Gran Paradiso massif. Far off the beaten track, we join Véronique, Anne and Erik as they patiently stalk their subjects, attempting to understand the tracks and habits of the masters of these lands. They take us to their hides, through their setbacks, but also to the pure moment of grace that is a long-awaited encounter.
Combining exceptional wildlife scenes, poetry and reflections on humanity’s relationship with nature, this true story will give you an intimate insight into the work of a mountain wildlife filmmaker.
