Odyssey Deep

Synopsis

After ten years of fierce fighting during the Trojan War, the King of Ithaca, Odysseus (Matt Damon), sets out on his journey home to his native island and his people.

But having provoked the wrath of the gods of Olympus, Odysseus is condemned to wander the Mediterranean Sea. Faced with devastating storms and hostile mythological creatures (the Cyclops Polyphemus, the sorceress Circe, the Sirens), he and his crew endure surreal ordeals that put their sanity and survival instincts to the test.

Meanwhile, back in Ithaca, his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and his son Telemachus (Tom Holland) are confronted by the suitors who have invaded the palace, plundered its riches and are attempting to usurp the throne.
