From 10 to 14 June 2026, the team from the Val d’Isère Adventure and Discovery Festival travelled across the Mont Blanc region to join a sister event: the Chamonix Film Festival. It was a wonderful opportunity to discover its film programme and fringe events, all centred around a shared passion for the mountains, adventure and film.
This visit also provided an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with the people who bring these events to life: organising teams, filmmakers, associations, partners and key figures from the world of mountaineering. These exchanges were invaluable for sharing experiences, generating new ideas and ensuring our festivals continue to evolve.
